1. Support specialist areas within Centralised Outpatients with the competency based skills required for the specialty. 2. To promote and deliver patient centred care aligned with the Trust vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy. 3. To support a continuously improving service, in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives and the NHS Performance framework including digital technology. 4. To continually develop professionally to ensure the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge and competence to meet the service/specialty requirements. 5. To help maintain a clean and safe department. 6. Contribute to managing stock levels and ordering stock appropriately 7. Maintains effective communication with patients, carers, relatives and staff., Provide support to specialist areas within Centralised Outpatients. Completion of specific competencies to support specialist clinics. Ongoing development of knowledge and skills in order to maintain competence. Setting up clinics to meet the requirements of the service. Maintaining a safe, clean environment in line with IPC requirements. Maintains effective communication with patients, carers, relatives and staff. Participate in programmes of in-service training as required. Chaperoning of patients as required. Establish and maintain good relationships with patients, carers and staff alike. Use of digital technology that supports the Outpatient services. Safe use of equipment required to support Outpatient activity.

The method of payment for this is via salary deduction from your first month's pay on commencement with the Trust. You are required to hold and provide evidence of the necessary qualifications for the post at interview should you be shortlisted. For any new employees commencing employment with North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust , you will be subject to satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period.     Clinical Support Worker - At North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, we are on a continuous journey seeking motivated Clinical Support Workers to join our teams at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. It is an essential requirement that you have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Care to apply for this role. We have exciting opportunities for a Clinical Support Worker within Centralised Outpatients team. The successful candidate will work as part of the Centralised Outpatient team and will focus attention on development of specific speciality competencies required to meet the service need. Working in Centralised Outpatients will open up some excellent opportunites for the successful candidate to develop knowledge and skills. The role requires post holder to be able to undertake other duties to meet the changing needs and priorities of the Trust and service. This may include seven days working, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on any trust premises.
