Full Job Description

These are exciting times for Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for Band 3 Clinical Support Workers to work in our existing teams in our secure units in the Nether Alderley area. Our services consist of the following specialist inpatient areas:

  • Alderley Unit- A male Low Secure Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability Ward
  • Saddlebridge Recovery Centre- A male 15 bed Low Secure Mental Health Ward (Nether Alderley)
  • All areas have a successful structure of MDT working and you will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and have an ethos of collaborative working between individual service users, carers and other stakeholders. We aim to provide high quality, safe services which improve the health, well-being and independence of the people within our locality. CWP offers a secure services payment allowance to staff working on our low secure units of £1519.00 pa pro rata.

    We are looking for motivated support workers to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and excellent standards of care. You will be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for mental health care,applicants should havesome experience of working with people with either a Mental Health condition, Dementia, Intellectual disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder and who can demonstrate their compassion and optimism for the rehabilitation and recovery of this client group as well as a desire for on-going professional development. You will receive excellent training opportunities for clinical development and regular supervision and appraisal. All wards offer a 24-hour service; therefore the successful candidates must be able to work a full range of 12 hour shifts including night shifts and weekends.
