Full Job Description

The band 3 Clinical Support Worker role in the Emergency Department also extends to ensuring patient's well being within the department, delivery of basic nursing care and using additional clinical skills such as undertaking of observations and some investigations such as ECGs in order to maintain safety and provide an enhanced and appropriate patient journey., Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer.

The post holder will undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse.

We are looking for caring, reliable, well-motivated people who are looking to develop their emergency care skills, working in a fast paced and ever evolving environment.

Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 in healthcare as a minimum requirement experience working within an Emergency Department or other relevant experience is required.

Skills in a Health care assistant role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
