    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker Higher Level in the General Outpatient Department at the Conquest Hospital. We are seeking a full time experienced Clinical Support Worker who is an excellent team player with a reliable work record.
  • The Outpatient Service is the shop window of the Trust that aims to provide a service that is patient focused, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. This role would suit someone who is; proactive, embraces change, has high standards, genuinely enjoys working with the public, is well organised, is an excellent communicator and enjoys being part of a large clinical team. If you have experience in Outpatients services, enjoy meeting new people and having a positive impact on patient experience then this opportunity is for you. We are offering you an interesting and varied role, where you will be working as part of a friendly team. The Division is supportive of ongoing professional development.   • GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths
  • Care Certificate
  • Desirable criteria
  • 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
  • Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
  • Education and training to NVQ level 3/Work based diploma or equivalent
  • Experience Essential criteria
  • Relevant experience of working in Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care
  • Desirable criteria
  • Relevant experience working in the NHS, Ability to work under instruction from a Registered Professional without direct supervision and support
  • Digital Skills, use of systems and ability to use physiological recording equipment and record findings
  • Good communication skills and ability to document care episode or event on digital systems or written
  • Ability to undertake vital observations and recognise any concerns that require escalation to a registered professional
  • Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of development of knowledge and skills relevant to role
  • Training and competence in clinical tasks relevant to role ie. Cannulation, wound care, ECG
