Greenways is a purpose built 12 bedded unit which caters for adult patients who have a learning disability. The Clinical Support Worker (CSW) will be part of the staff team responsible for assisting in the physical and psychological care to patients., If you are a committed and compassionate person who gets a buzz from helping others, and you're interested in starting a career within the NHS, our CSW role could be the perfect fit for you.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with both colleagues and patients. Ideally you will have experience in a care setting with learning disabilities. As the ward is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the 11.5 hour shifts will include both days and nights (Days 07:30-20:00 and Nights 19:30-08:00)

A great opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to join an experienced team at Greenways Assessment & Treatment Unit in Macclesfield, Cheshire which has been rated Outstanding by CQC (Care Quality Commission)., The role will be challenging at times but also incredibly rewarding. Many of our nurses and clinical leaders began their NHS careers as CSWs and were supported by the Trust to progress.

You will be working with adults with learning disabilities as part of an enthusiastic and supportive team. Admissions are short term for people with learning disabilities and complex needs requiring a period of intensive assessment, treatment and or therapy within an inpatient unit., CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
