Full Job Description
An opportunity has become available in our Outpatients Department for a Clinical Support Worker at Russell's Hall Hospital to support clinicians to provide a high standard of patient care, helping with all aspects of their care as well as simple admin tasks to ensure efficient running of clinics., The role will involve ensuring patients feel welcomed into clinic and ready for their appointments. To carry out basic admin tasks to support clinicians such as booking patients in and out of the clinics, photocopying, making up clinic packs. To do clinical observations of patients prior to their appointments as required eg height, weight, ECGs, BP, test urine. To communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives. To recognise and report to clinicians any concerns or changes in the patient's condition.
The post holder will be expected along with other team members to ensure all equipment is cleaned on a daily basis as necessary adhering to the Trust Infection Control Policy.
