Full Job Description
Your role will be to support the registered nurses within both ward and day unit areas.
You will provide some direct care to children under the supervision of registered nurses.
The is also a large focus on playing with the children to gain their co-operation especially during medical procedures. You will be expected to support the play specialist/playworker within your role.
You will be expected to learn how to take blood and also support the child during blood taking.
You will also need to ensure that all infection control precautions are adhered to., + The healthcare provider of first choice for the people of East Sussex.
