Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of Clinical Systems Specialists. Previous experience in healthcare information technology is not essential, although a reasonable level of IT literacy and a key eye for detail is required. We will provide all the training and development you will need to become an expert in ensuring all technical solutions are fully tested, documented, change controlled and deployed safely and efficiently.

As part of our award-winning digital team, this is an opportunity to be a part of delivering the future of the electronic patient record though a highly varied, challenging and rewarding role which is pivotal in ensuring the technical teams have all the support they need to safely and accurately deploy digital solutions in a wide range of clinical systems. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge on all the new initiatives and maintenance releases in live clinical system; as well as working with a range of staff at all different levels to ensure their needs are met and guiding them on ensuring this is done safely and effectively.

You will have the opportunity to understand how digital processes work and be they key in supporting the technical experts in delivering a wide range of solutions. You will be responsible for the access to a number of different systems and environments, testing of solutions to agree deployment whilst maintaining valued relationships to ensure everyone has the support and after care needed. This will also include continually developing the the Change Management documentation and deployment processes. In order to succeed in the role the ideal candidate will have, Our award-winning digital team sits at the heart of the organisation, providing technical, infrastructure and system support to colleagues in all three of our hospitals. As part of the EPR team, you will play an important role in ensuring that we develop and maintain our electronic patient record, in a way that supports clinicians to deliver the best patient care. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with staff from right across the organisation and get directly involved in digital system implementations that make a difference.
