Full Job Description

We are looking for motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.

The post is an appointment to work at Broomfield Hospital, primarily to support the undergraduate teaching programme for medical students. The main duties of the post holder will be the implementation and integration of the medical curriculum.

You will work closely with the Sub-Dean/Undergraduate Lead, Associate DME, CTF Site Lead, Medical Education Manager, Simulation Team and Undergraduate / Postgraduate Administrators., Student teaching will focus on clinical skills, particularly beside patient teaching but also case-based discussions. You will identify and manage any teaching skills gaps and work to address these through a structured provision as well as helping identify medical students in 'difficulty'. Simulation training will play a key part.

Attendance at undergraduate operational meetings at site as well as faculty meetings held off site at the Medical Schools in London and Chelmsford.

Education support for students including developing e-learning resources.

Contribute to the departmental teaching Programmes at Undergraduate/Postgraduate level. To assist in the preparation and implementation of Royal College Mock and final PACES, Medical School Mock and Final MBBS.

£33,790 to £53,132 a year Banding to be confirmed depending on area of clinical work
