Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for band 7 physiotherapist to join the Community MSK Assessment & Physiotherapy Service (CMAPS). The service includes MSK rehabilitation, First Contact Physiotherapy, Advanced Physiotherapy & administration team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist / Clinical Team Leader to join our physiotherapy service full-time.The post will enable you to assess patients within a health centre setting. To perform unsupervised, comprehensive assessment of patients, using a high level of clinical knowledge and experience. utilising your clinical reasoning to manage a varied caseload with support from peers, APP's and Clinical Lead.There are excellent CPD opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment that includes a weekly clinical support group, clinical supervision and monthly IST. Successful applicants will have substantial post graduate experience of working in musculoskeletal specialties; will have

experience in leading a team, a positive attitude, excellent mentoring skills with inclusive and compassionate leadership., Successful applicants will have substantial post graduate experience of working in musculoskeletal specialties; will have excellent leadership skills, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

  • Undertake all MSK aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner acting as a specialist for MSK and seeking support when appropriate for non MSK conditions or concerns.
  • To support the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and Therapy Leads in taking a lead role within area of specialism, providing advanced therapy assessment and treatment of patients with diversepresentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To be a source of expertise, to identify, analyse, evaluate and problem solve to enable the development and delivery of individualized intervention and treatment programmes.
