Full Job Description

This post is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Heath Nurse with NMC, HCPC (OT) You will be part of a multi- disciplinary team providing the clinical leadership and clinical supervision of clinicians within the CMHRS Team. To ensure the service operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system of Mental Health services. In addition, to foster a culture that encourages and enables individuals to have an active rolein identifying, planning and meeting their individual needs. Deputising for the Service Manager in their absence, undertaking management responsibilities as required. Qualified nurses (NMC) are currently benefiting from a Retention Allowance. It is a 10% pay uplift on top of 5% HCAS Fringe payment.This 10% retention allowance is subject to a minimum total payment of £3,293 and a maximum total payment of £3,613 p.a. This will be paid on a monthly basis and pro-rata'd to hours worked. The post holder must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.,

  • To adhere to the requirements of the relevant Professional Code of Conduct at all times (NMC or HCPC)o To oversee the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the clinicalcare needs of people using our services within a defined service areao To mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff including studentswithin locality HTTo To participate in the recruitment, deployment and management of staff within yourservice areao To work in collaboration with other key stakeholders, CMHRS, psychiatric liaisonteams, community connections, early intervention in psychosis team, primary careteams, inpatient teams, bed management teams, social services approved mentalhealth practitionerso Provide clinical credibility across a variety of mental health crisis scenarios andsituationso Provide knowledge and aid understanding of the concepts of recovery and how toimplement these concepts in practical termso Understand relevant legislation i.e., CPA, Clinical & Social
  • Governance, NSF, MHAand translate into practical application for otherso Provide advice and guidance of current evidence based practice within mental
