Full Job Description

As a clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for providing induction and development training to St Anne's Staff at Morley Head Office, and also across regions of the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber. Trainers should demonstrate a passion for their role and their ethos.
This position will provide the opportunity to witness the skilled progression of staff from their first day, throughout their career.

+ RNLD or Equivalent First Level Degree in Nursing Studies with a valid PIN
+ Relevant qualification in training or teaching or willingness to work towards within first 2 years
+ Evidence of continuing professional development within a clinical setting
+ Awareness of current issues in nursing and allied health professions and ability to cascade this learning as appropriate
+ Clinical skills experience including Mental Health and Learning Disabilities in a variety of environments and settings
+ Understanding of the training/compliance requirements for workers in adult health and social care settings
+ Experience of designing, developing, and delivering training content via face to face and remote routes
+ Experience of delivering training which recognises different learning styles and abilities
+ Able to deliver training in neurological conditions, diabetes, epilepsy including rescue meds, end of life care, sepsis, continence and bowel management, oral health, dysphagia, medication, autistic spectrum conditions, mental health conditions, health and wellbeing, complex health needs, first aid, moving and handling people, PEG, Stoma and Catheter.. Experience in drug and alcohol support services from a clinical perspective, including COMHAD awareness.
+ Experience of supervising and supporting student nurses
+ Able to travel across the region - full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
+ Thorough understanding of the contents and concepts around Oliver McGowan Training as the aspiration is to create a compliant internal package.

This 30 hour/week role is central to that progression as it will:
Provide clinical training to St Anne's Community Service employees in a variety of subjects.
Be actively involved with the organisation and facilitation of the Induction Programmes, including the design and delivery of training sessions, as part of a wider team of L&D Trainers.
Deliver a wide range of clinical subjects across the St Anne's remit, including internal staff development and progression.
