Full Job Description

This is a 24-month rotational programme in the GCTO department, where you will get the opportunity to rotate between functional areas. You will have an opportunity to gain a full insight into the principles and practices of a Clinical Research Department within a global company. The role will collaborate at local level closely with Clinical Operation Manager (COM), Clinical Research Manager (CRM) and Clinical Research Associate (CRA).,

  • Leading and collaborating on key activities across GCTO UK & ROI to support the delivery of local clinical trial execution.
  • Support coordination and implementation of new initiatives set up to continuously improve our processes and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with our finance/budgeting representatives to develop, control, update and close-out country and site budgets
  • Ensure collation, distribution and tracking of essential study documents and reports using applicable systems and study tools.
  • Support local investigator meetings (invitations, prepare materials, select venue, support vendor where applicable).
  • Organise annual department meetings with support from an organising committee.
  • Contribute strongly to CTC team knowledge by becoming a process Subject Matter Expert (SME), sharing best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement, and supporting providing training as appropriate/required.
  • Participate in organising intern training programs

    A BSc degree (or equivalent qualification) in life sciences, pharmacy discipline.
  • You must currently be studying at a UK university and will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrates planning, analytical and organisational skills
