Full Job Description

  • Lead and manage the administration team, ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the school office, overseeing the daily administrative functions to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and streamlined workflows.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to staff, including room bookings, preparing correspondence, reprographics, and managing various school processes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external partners, ensuring all interactions are professional and timely.
  • Respond to and prioritise communications (post, phone calls, emails) and distribute them appropriately.
  • Assist in the coordination of key school events, such as open days, transition events, awards evenings, parent-teacher meetings, and any other school events
  • Welcome visitors, pupils, and staff, ensuring adherence to safeguarding and health & safety protocols.
  • Provide timely and effective administrative support, ensuring deadlines are met and the smooth running of the school is maintained.
  • Manage the administration of pupil data.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and legal regulations, handling confidential information with the utmost care.
  • Update and maintain the school website and social media sites (as appropriate)
  • Produce documents for the school e.g. Newsletters, brochures, social media and school website, We are committed to providing an empowering and supportive learning environment for all staff where they can develop as exemplary professionals.     We are looking to appoint a proactive, professional, and highly organised Senior Administrator to join our busy school office team. If you have strong administrative expertise, and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you., Proven experience in school administration or a senior administrative role (administration experience specifically in a school environment is not essential but may be an advantage).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail.
