Cloud Business Manager

As well as moving existing workloads to cloud, we are developing new solutions using cloud-native capabilities and developing additional global platform capabilities to meet the needs of our rapidly transforming businesses. As the Cloud Business Manager, you will help to ensure that these platforms are used effectively to support our organisational goals. Using a combination of your technical knowledge, and business and commercial acumen, you'll drive commercial optimisation, execution, and adoption of our Cloud Platforms. How you'll help us make health happen:

• Work with the Head of Technical Services to ensure that our Cloud offerings deliver value for Bupa.
• Develop and execute global commercial strategies for Bupa Cloud Platforms including contracts, costs, risks, and benefits.
• Collaborate with internal and external technology leaders to align cloud solutions with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Provide commercial input into cloud platform business cases and AOP planning, ensuring optimal return on investment.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for contractual issues, resolving disputes and ensuring compliance.
• Build and manage relationships with Cloud representatives and stakeholders across the organization, optimizing service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the financial aspects of cloud platforms, including pricing models, global cost optimisation, internal recharge strategy and growth opportunities.
• Accountable to strategy board for identifying and capitalizing on global commercial opportunities and achieving value for Bupa and suppliers across the value chain.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Track return on investment (ROI) for platforms and measure tangible outcomes to demonstrate value.
• Ensure compliance with BUPA regulations and data protection standards in all cloud-related activities.
• Contributes to risk management, identifying and mitigating threats.
• Collaborate with marketing and internal communication teams to create compelling value propositions and business success stories for the platform.
• Monitor and report on the commercials of cloud platform, providing insights and recommendations to the Head of Technology, CIOs and Strategy Board.
  
  Proven experience in commercial management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Platform services and their application in healthcare.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with exec and senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Strategic thinker and innovative mindset with a track record of developing and executing successful commercial plans.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to cloud services.
• Ability to influence behaviour without organisational hierarchy.
