Club Events manager

The Club Events Manager is responsible for enhancing member engagement and satisfaction through meticulously planned and executed events. This role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our members for a variety of different occasions.

The Club Events manager will be highly visible to the club members with a focus on building relationships and anticipating member needs.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a club, hospitality, or high-end environment.


• Proven track record of creating and executing successful events that enhance member satisfaction and engagement.


• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a member-centric approach.


• Must be able to handle diverse viewpoints and difficult situations by exercising discretion and tactful responses.


• Ability to drive revenue.


• The ability to make decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.


• Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders across the Club.


• Ability to work independently and use initiative.


• Demonstrate great teamwork.


• Flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the business.
  
  Wentworth Club is a privately owned club in Virginia Water, Surrey that comprises of three 18 championship courses, a 9 hole executive course, health club, large clubhouse with multiple F&B offerings with event space.


The club was founded in 1922. Beijing-based Reignwood Group bought the club in September 2014 and implemented a new model for Wentworth moving forwards, building on an illustrious history.
