Full Job Description

As a Cluster Accounts Assistant, you'll be making all the difference to the business, so we want you to bring your dynamic personality to work with you every day. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! You will be supporting the efficient running of the Finance function whilst assisting in optimising profitability within the business. Working as part of a vibrant team, you'll be exceeding expectations and leaving no query unresolved! You will be supporting across 6 properties within the cluster, which include Bradford, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Newcastle, Gateshead with the base property at Leonardo Hotel Leeds. You will be required to travel to the other properties within the cluster on an ad-hoc basis with some overnight stays. If you our ideal Cluster Accounts Assistant, you will:

  • Be yourself!
  • Ensure all banking transactions are reconciled and keyed into the financial system
  • Audit performance reviews of daily revenue processed
  • Participate in the month end accounts processes, ensuring accurate preparation of financial reports
  • Support preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and valuation of stock takes at property level and across the cluster
  • Ensure effective and timely communication of business performance and opportunities to all levels of management
  • Have knowledge or SAP and Opera - don't worry if not, we can teach you!
  • Have previous experience in similar role
