Cluster Finance Assistant

As Cluster Finance Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Finance departments at both properties. You will be responsible for tasks from processing deposit ledger and sales ledger invoices, to chasing payments and creating invoices for our valued clients - all while maintaining strict adherence to financial and client deadlines. You'll also have an opportunity to develop and implement effective financial policies with leadership from each properties Financial Controllers. This role involves working 40 hours per week on site Monday to Friday. You will be based at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London Covent Garden, but the role also covers De Vere Latimer Estate in Buckinghamshire, so occasional travel to this property will also be required.

• Previous experience in finance or a relevant qualification, demonstrating your understanding of financial processes
• An interest in the hospitality and events industry and the ability to deliver high standards of service
• The ability to work effectively with numbers and communicate with others both from within the Hotel and external clients
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel. While experience with accounting software & Opera is desirable, it is not essential - we value your ability to adapt and learn.
