CNC Milling Programmer

The Role: CNC Milling Programmer
- Set, operate and program CNC 3-axis Fanuc Milling Machines
- Online program editing and programming from scratch
- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
- Working on Fanuc or G code based controls
- Working from drawings
- Quality control of components
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer
- Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC 3-axis Mills
- CNC Miller on Fanuc controls
- CNC Programming experience essential
- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
- Experience in the Defence industry is desirable
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Able to quality check own parts
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- Motivated and excellent team player

Starting salary up to £18 Per Hour Depending on Experience

My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Walsall and commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth., Starting rate up to £18 per hour dependent on experience
- Day Shifts are Mon – Thurs 07:00-16:30 (4 day week)
