CNC Operative - PM Shift

B & W Group Ltd (Masimo Consumer) are looking for looking for CNC Operatives to join us at our modern manufacturing plant in East Worthing in the Woodwork Department on the PM Shift. This role involves setting and operating CNC machines, checking parts against engineering drawings, performing daily cleaning operations and conducting first line maintenance. Previous CNC experience is essential. This is a full time role with excellent benefits., · To conform to standard work, single piece flow and departmental requirement.

· To be able to work at a speed consistent with the requirements of the department.

· To be highly motivated to produce good quality without loss of production speed.

· To work with the Team Leader and other support staff in administering company policies and procedures.

· To contribute to the team's improvement agenda in respect to; continuous improvement, problem solving, Kaizen, 6S and engineering changes.

· To maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

· To be a willing & enthusiastic participant in 6S activities.

· To be flexible and engage in useful work when there is an interruption in production.

Skills/Experience Required

· We are looking for time served CNC Operatives from a fast-paced, high quality manufacturing background. The successful candidates will need to have good numeracy and communication skills as well having high attention to detail.

· Being able to read engineering drawings and use/read measurement equipment is essential.

· Being a team player, with a can-do attitude who can follow instructions is essential.

· Being self-motivated and having good timekeeping & attendance is essential.

· Previous experience working shifts would be an advantage.
