CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machinery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of components.

Responsibilities

- Good experience operating a CNC machine, preferably working with timber products

- Program, set up and operate CNC machines to meet production requirements

-Ability to read production orders and understand technical drawings to determine the correct machine operation and setup to achieve desired results.

- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

- Maintain equipment by conducting regular maintenance procedures

- Troubleshoot machine errors and perform adjustments as needed

- Operate CNC machines and tools safely in accordance with manufacturer's guidance and health and safety protocols

Proficiency in using hand tools for materials handling and assembly
- Knowledge of logic controllers for CNC machine operation
- Experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to work with tooling equipment for machining operations
- Strong grasp of basic maths for measurements and calculations
