Full Job Description
Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role to program, set, and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision machines parts and components.,
- Programming, setting and operation of 3 & 4 axis milling machinery
- Read, interpret and understand technical drawing details
- Ensure machines are running to optimal level
- Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified
- Use of measuring equipment to establish correct fit and tolerance of machined parts to drawings
Previous experience of programming and operation of 3 & 4 axis milling machinery - Good working knowledge of Heidenhain online control systems
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked with a number of materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel etc
- Able to work afternoons
The role is afternoons - Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 2pm - Thursday 3pm to Midnight The company are based near Nuneaton so would be commutable from Tamworth, Coventry, Hinckley, Birmingham, Coalville Salary - 30,000 to 35,000 per annum The work environment is a very friendly, supportive and pleasant one.
