CNC Turner
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join a specialist precision engineering company who are based in the Southampton area. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and programming Fanuc Lathes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the components produced.

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join a specialist precision engineering company who are based in the Southampton area. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and programming Fanuc Lathes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the components produced.
CNC Turner Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling etc.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the necessary programming and tooling for the job.
- Program machines using Fanuc controls and perform test runs to ensure proper functioning.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines, specifically with Fanuc controls.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings.
- Program CNC machines based on job requirements and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, monitoring operations and making adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Proactively identify and address any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Monday to Thursday - 6am to 4.15pm
