An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Coding/ Documents Team as a permanent Team Lead. The successful post holder/s will be based at The Grange Family Health Centre at Royal Primary Care. The team, work between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm therefore you will be expected to work between these times. Please speak to the Coding Manager for a flexible working pattern. In return you will work with the best! A fully operational hardworking and knowledgeable documents/ coding team, along with a supportive Coding Manager. Personal Development is encouraged to be the best version of you and to lead your team with confidence., To provide leadership to the Documents & Coding team.
RPC receive around 3000 documents a week and the team are responsible for ensuring all documents are actioned within a timely manner. This includes scanning, attaching, and coding all documents and tasking others with any action to be carried out. This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future.

We are looking for an excellent motivator, communicator and target driven person/s to provide leadership skills to the Documents/ Coding team. This includes scanning, attaching, and coding all documents and tasking others with any action to be carried out. Enthusiasm and creativity is a must to ensure work demand is kept within deadlines.
Must be able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
Self-motivated and also able to motivate their team.
Prioritise own workload as well as those of others.
Able to work under pressure.
Work to deadlines and targets.
Organised, able to prioritise and a methodical thinker.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Knowledgeable and experience in Read/Snomed coding whilst adhering to QOF.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the team are working efficiently.
The successful candidates should have advanced I.T. skills and use competently Excel, Word, MS Teams, Outlook.
Other essential skills are qualifications in English & Maths at GCSE level C or above (or equivalent), time management, ability to follow instructions, target driven and a desire for service quality improvement.
Desirable skills/ qualifications are Medical Terminology, Business Administration, customer service, NHS environment experience within primary care advantageous. Able to work SystmOne with extensive knowledge of its's functions.
