Full Job Description

To provide highly specialised psychotherapy services within the Halton andWarrington and St Helens and Knowsley Early Intervention Team including the provision of specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on individual's psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the services policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area in which the post holder works.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and flexible qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practitioners to join our Early Intervention Team.

This role will be worked between Warrington and Halton Early Intervention Team and St Helens and Knowsley Early Intervention Team. Applicants need to be accredited with the BABCP.

We offer staff weekly Clinical supervision along with regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) time to support with theexpansion of skills in the service.

The applicant must be subject to a regulatory body- NMC. The applicant must have experience of providing CBT for individuals experiencing psychosis or personality disorder. The successful applicant will be offering CBT to individuals on the teams At Risk Mental State Pathway, which is a primary care mental health pathway. CBTp is desirable but not essential.

BFT competence would also be desirable, but not essential.
