College Coordinator

This is an excellent opportunity to become a College Coordinator at the North Rye site of ESPA College. Applications for this post are invited from suitability qualified and experienced individuals. The college has also gained an excellent reputation for achieving successful outcomes for its learners.
The successful candidate should preferably possess:

• A strong commitment to enabling and celebrating authentic Autistic identity.


• A PGCE/ Cert Ed, or equivalent level 5 teaching qualification.


• A creative and individualised approach to curriculum development.


• Experience of planning, delivering and ensuring high quality teaching and learning experiences for autistic students with additional support needs.


• Excellent organisation, communication and project management skills.


• Experience of working with key external stakeholders and internal professionals.

Responsibilities will include:


• Overseeing the successful operation of a vibrant college site while following Safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and students.



• Ensuring the wellbeing and professional development of a diverse staff team while maintaining high quality teaching and learning experiences.



• Ensuring that best practice is maintained in accordance with ESPA College Policies and Procedures and relevant company policies.



• Monitoring and updating student's EHCP plans and tracking progress made towards achieving their long term aspirations.
