College Governor

Attendance at 4 Corporation meetings and 4 committee meetings per year. Corporation meetings take place at the College in Leeds normally on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7.30pm. Some of the committee meetings will be held on Teams from 5.00pm also on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

The statutory duties of a governor include approving annual estimates of income and expenditure; ensuring solvency, safeguarding of assets and financial probity; approving a 3-year financial plan and ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources.

Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is looking to appoint a person with a background in finance or accounting to join the Corporation (Governing Body) and become a member of its Finance Committee. Ideally you will have experience of working at Board level but this is not an essential requirement as training and development will be provided.
