Full Job Description

An exciting new role to join the Colorectal Team at Poole Hospital to train as a Colorectal Administration/HCA role has become available to support the Nurse Led Service., The successful candidate will support the nurse led fast track service ensuring the patients pathway is smooth and completed in an appropriate time frame. The successful candidate will have goodcommunication and computer skills, able to construct, complete and update databases, organise appointments and manage admins tasks such as typing dictations. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to complete some basic nursing care tasks, by supporting the ANPTeam in Face-to-Face clinics, ensuring the clinics run smoothly, chaperoning patient examinations and supporting patients with further investigations such as blood tests and gaining prescriptionsfrom pharmacy. It is essential they can work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
