Full Job Description

The Promoting department is responsible for Promoting thousands of shows throughout the UK every year and works closely with our colleagues in Europe, America and Australia to tour headline acts worldwide. Our comedy department is looking for a hard-working individual to assist the department with administrative duties on all aspects of this incredibly busy and fast-moving business.,

  • Processing and filing contracts
  • Submitting expenses
  • Preparing immigration/work permit applications in timely fashion
  • Arranging and attending meetings and taking minutes where required
  • Preparing and sending regular sales reports
  • PRS submissions for tour shows
  • Raising invoices and chasing payments
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Collecting avails and logging accurately in Excel spreadsheets
  • Liaising with European offices for avails, tour planning and logistics
  • Assisting in the co-ordinating of marketing materials
  • Booking travel, hotels etc. and diary coordination
  • Dealing with all incoming queries from internal departments (accounts, ticketing, marketing etc) and external contacts (agents, venues, PR etc)
  • General office duties and remote assistance with Zoom meetings
  • Providing general support to the Comedy Promotions team where required
  • On occasion you will be required to attend shows in evenings and on weekends

  • Knowledge of venue/general touring industry and a keen interest in comedy would be advantageous
  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Ability to work spreadsheets and databases - good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
