Full Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Analyst, Refit Lifecycle to join our team and play a key role in supporting the governance and framework of our Refit Lifecycle management. In this position, you will work closely with internal teams across all departments at CUK to ensure the successful delivery of refit projects, while also helping to maintain cost control and financial transparency throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for tracking and managing refit expenses, engaging with Project Managers and external contractors, and ensuring the accurate representation of project costs. You will also contribute to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Refit Lifecycle Management Team.
Key accountabilities include:
Support the management of refit expenses and ensure alignment with project budgets.
Collaborate with Project Managers, contractors, and internal teams to track and report on project costs and financial performance.
Provide regular updates to senior management (SMT), summarising spend and providing context to the investment made in vessel refits.
Assist in the planning and preparation of docking scopes, providing input and recommendations based on financial data.
Conduct periodic site visits to dry docks and vessels to ensure alignment with scope and budget.
Drive continuous improvement within the Refit Lifecycle Management process, contributing to better operational efficiency and cost management.
Maintain strong attention to detail while handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
A-Level or higher education, with degree-level education preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and IT systems, budget management, and experience in a fast-paced marine technical environment. Familiarity with planned maintenance and purchasing systems, logistics operations, and vendor management., Diploma in Ship Management, CIPS qualification, project management certification, and membership in a professional institution. Cruise industry experience, AMOS system knowledge, and familiarity with maritime regulations (SOLAS, Class Rules, Statutory Legislation) and crisis management

This role is classified as CUK10 and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
