We have fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Client Advisor to join one of our teams located in Cardiff or Exeter perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance, having worked in a Client Advisor or Broker type role or within the Commercial Claims sector, looking to move into a new and exciting role within an established, market leading insurance broker. We are creating an ambitious, exciting new team which will embrace both the South West and Wales with the aim to grow the team. What can you expect?

  • An opportunity to join an established and client focused broking team working on a variety of complex commercial insurance policies.
  • A platform to build on existing knowledge and an opportunity to learn new skills in a continuous improvement environment.
  • To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues across the Group., Work on your own renewal book, interact with the client to obtain renewal information, negotiate with insurers in respect of the renewal, seeking cross sale opportunities and to retain the policy
  • Work with the team, and on your own initiative to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and midterm changes.
  • Strive to meet sales goals set for the Team
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.

    Strong business development skills
  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance, i.e. Fleet, Liability, Shop, Property Owners insurance)
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities.
