Full Job Description

We are 20 partners, 55 associates, 3 court clerks and 10 trainees/apprentices, with a very broad and interesting case mix and sector focus. We have had a case in the top 10 cases featured for 7 consecutive years in the Lawyer's Top 20 Cases, profiling the most significant litigation in the UK. In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including: Key responsibilities: · Technical legal support for fee-earners · CPR guidance (and court process guidance alongside our court clerks) · Know-how content generation (and oversight of plan for others to deliver that content) · Internal team training on technical matters/legal developments

We want a dedicated, dynamic Professional Support Lawyer to be part of, and provide technical support to, the London litigation and arbitration team. We are looking for an experienced PSL with great people skills and an enthusiasm to make the role their own., We will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you to thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role you must meet the following skills and experience:

  • Legally qualified/Litigation PSL experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Personable/approachable, 10 years plus litigation experience (as a fee-earner or PSL)
  • Regular article writer
  • Advocacy - not for use in role, but gives an extra perspective
  • Arbitration experience (as a fee-earner or PSL)
  • Working in a collaborative team
