Full Job Description

  • Lead projects/process improvement to execute Lean strategy within Sales & Marketing
  • Own the digital Kaizen board & drive action planning to execute on key deliverables
  • Define & maintain sales Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), standard work by role, and other FLIGHT DECK standards that enable Lean implementation in both business transactions and the fulfillment of products and services within GE Aviation
  • Partner in overcoming business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes and services
  • Drive Lean deployment at a global level including methods, tools, and transformation plans
  • Stay informed of industry trends that may influence work
  • Support Knowledge Sharing & Learning Platforms
  • Facilitate Operating Cadences to drive improvements of KPIs

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or process improvement
  • Expertise in problem-solving
  • Deep understanding of Lean and related areas (six sigma, VSM, kaizen, standard work, leader standard work, problem solving, Kanban and lean transformations), Solid business acumen
  • Experience with a CRM tool (Salesforce.com)
  • Hands-on experience with implementing change projects
  • Challenging the organization by asking guiding questions, supporting teams as they test hypotheses, and
  • Creating an environment which values "try-storming" to maximize speed to desired impact
  • An instinct for impact and a taste for stretched targets
