Full Job Description

Travelopia's Education division is comprised of some spectacular brands such as; World Challenge, Skibound, JCA, Travelbound, and Edwin Doran. These brands deliver trips to children and young adults as part of their school education. The trips offered include UK-based residentials, ski, curricular, and sports-based trips, and global expeditions for children from schools in the UK and Australia.
We require an individual to join the Commercial team to predominantly support our current structure and assist the Commercial Manager with pricing, yield management of fixed assets and 3rd party long-term contracts, cost management and forecasting, and reporting requirements to meet the commercial and trading needs of the informative brands. It is a multifaceted role requiring attention to detail and commercial awareness. The individual would need to be highly motivated and can work under their initiative. Knowledge of the school's product would be desirable although not crucial.

What else you will be doing:
+ Assist in improving the yield of fixed assets notably the ski club hotels, Chateau du Molay and Condover Hall, and third-party long-term or fixed-term contracts
+ Provide regular analysis of the occupancy levels within our fixed assets to the Commercial Manager and assist in recommending areas for improvement with the various collaborators
+ Assist Commercial manager with generating pricing to the distribution teams for Travelbound, Sports & JCA, for both strategic and tactical pricing decisions in line with commercial expectations and targets
+ To handle ad-hoc pricing and discounting requests from the Travelbound, Sports & JCA sales teams
+ Drive and supervise the cost of sale in all areas and highlight key opportunities for improvement
+ Monthly forecasting on cost of sales within the reservation system, along with identifying any risks & opportunity
+ Supply ops teams with monthly updates on 'unlocked costs' within the reservation system for reconciliation
+ Assist the Commercial Manager in the management of the key supplier contracts
+ Manage the reconciliation of passenger taxes on all charter allocations
+ Maintain the charter flight capacities on our in house reservation system in line with allocations
+ Complete program checks in our reservation system to ensure the charter flight information is accurate
+ Updating existing Business Objects reports or creating new reports as required by the business
+ Playing an active role in cross departmental trading meetings

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work under your own initiative and meet deadlines.
+ Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
+ High level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience with Business Objects and Travelink is desirable.
+ Enjoys working with technology and problem-solving.
+ Naturally inquisitive and constantly seeking ways to enhance processes and outcomes.
+ Proven track record of handlingmultiple projects simultaneously.
+ Proven experience in communicating sophisticated financial analysis to a wide audience.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging demands.
