Commercial Finance Manager

As a Commercial Finance Manager at Sodexo, you are a strategic thinker and a collaborative partner who thrives on making impactful decisions. You will take the lead in developing financial models and assumptions that integrate operational, commercial, and financial elements to create winning bids and support our continued success.

What you'll do:

• Develop and lead financial models and assumptions for bids, ensuring they align with customer requirements and offer competitive pricing.


• Provide pricing, commercial, and financial guidance to the Business Development team to support growth targets.


• Act as a finance and commercial advisor on business development opportunities, championing effective commercial strategies.


• Identify and communicate commercial risks and opportunities during tender processes.


• Collaborate with legal and operational colleagues to ensure all contractual, pricing, and commercial matters are clear and manageable.


• Support negotiations and contract finalisation, ensuring financial and commercial soundness.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  
  Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.


• Proven experience in financial analysis and working with incomplete data.


• Strong numerical and financial modelling skills.


• Solid understanding of contracts and commercial awareness.


• Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with both finance and non-finance colleagues.


• Experience in collaborative working within joint hard and soft FM environments (ideal).


• Ability to work independently, flexibly, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
