Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Commercial Finance team in a key business partnering role responsible for end-to-end financial management of the Digital channel. You will be passionate about driving forward Vodafone's digital growth and this role is pivotal for delivering the Distribution strategy plan.

Working side by side with the business teams on:

  • Digital channel growth

  • Trading decisions and performance to maximise channel value

  • Capex and resource prioritisation across both Digital sales and Digital Care

  • Optimal cost of sale spend (A&R) for Drive and affiliates


  • Relationship Management
  • Own and manage relationships with the Consumer Business units: eCommerce Marketing, Digital Trading, and Digital Product owners.

  • This role will drive the delivery of financial and trading targets

  • Establish a strong understanding of the market, and provide clear insight, action plans and business strategies to drive growth.


  • Day-to-day processes
  • Work with Finance Operations and FP&A to ensure accurate cost accounting for relevant A&R areas (P&L) and balance sheet management, and provide clear understanding of month end results

  • Interpret the financial and KPI results and provide meaningful commentary and performance-based insights vs forecast, budget, and YoY (A&R, Channel IBRO, Digital Mix KPI)

  • Proactively identify issues and work with the business to address key performance problems with tangible action plans

  • Owner of Digital Sales and Care business cases, Capex planning and PIRs

  • Track in-flight initiatives and provide valuable insight to owners


  • Budget and Forecasting. This role will own the forecasting and planning process for the business areas included in its remit:
  • A&R for Drive and Affiliates (Cost and CPAs)

  • Manage and maintain risks & opportunities

  • Digital volume and MAF/Value (In conjunction with Digital trading team)

  • Own the Digital mix % KPI forecasting and tracking


  • Projects
  • Provide Channel value and customer quality analysis (At both overall and sub-channel level)

  • Lead deep dive activities on cost of sale management (A&R)

  • o eCommerce marketing CPA drivers

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

  • Able to build relationships with and influence stakeholders

  • Understands how to support and challenge the business appropriately

  • Articulate communicator able to explain complex/detailed information

  • Comfortable operating at speed with multiple priorities and short deadlines

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant
