Commercial Manager

Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 850 girls aged 4-18, located in central Guildford.

An exciting opportunity, in a newly created role, to play a key part in the growth and management of the commercial potential of our thriving independent school through the provision of high-quality lettings. The role coincides with the opening, in Autumn 2024, of our first-class home for Tormead Sport, with upgraded facilities that include an all-weather hockey pitch, 400m athletics track, cricket nets, football pitches and a sports pavilion.

We are seeking an ambitious professional who has good financial awareness, strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, to drive and shape this important area of the School's business. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong, collaborative relations with our key stakeholders and the wider community. Candidates will have a solid understanding of the service ethic and a commitment to providing consistently high levels of customer service. You must have experience of identifying and developing new streams of income and of dealing with customers in a client-facing environment.
