Full Job Description

Financial Reporting:

  • Report all financial aspects of performance to senior managers and the head office support team, including Profit and Loss (PnL), Flash, Labour, and consumption reports.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial information by the finance team.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness across all commercial activities.


  • Commercial Analysis:
  • Conduct commercial analysis of sales performance, labour, and theoretical Gross Profit (GP).

  • Propose commercial improvements to increase profitability and operational efficiency.

  • Cost Management:
  • Transfer all costs and place and track all relevant accruals accurately.

  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.


  • Sales Reporting:
  • Send weekly sales information to clients and senior managers.

  • Update senior managers with figures for monthly reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.


  • Payroll Management:
  • Check weekly payroll figures to ensure they match with reporting.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies promptly.


  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Day-to-day management of the finance team, ensuring high performance and efficiency.

  • Foster progression and development within the finance team, identifying training and development needs to enhance their capabilities.


  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial performance and commercial strategies.

  • Act as a key point of contact for all commercial matters, providing insights and recommendations.

    The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the commercial aspects of our business operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying growth opportunities, managing key accounts, and ensuring the financial success of the company., Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or professional accounting qualifications preferred).
