Full Job Description

  • Lead Bids and Tenders: Oversee high-quality, on-time submissions and guide contract negotiations and compliance.

  • Financial Management: Monitor and report on KPIs, project budgets, and business-wide targets.

  • Risk Management: Identify and address commercial risks in collaboration with the RSK Group's commercial team.

  • Client Relations: Maintain strong communications with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring excellent working relationships.

  • Operational Support: Assist the commercial team with client quotes, contract management, and budget tracking.

    Relevant Degree: Hold a degree in quantity surveying or a related field, or possess significant experience within a professional consultancy.

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate a successful track record in quantity surveying for a professional firm.

  • Expert Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of managing new contracts and working within the infrastructure supply chain.

  • Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate in influence key stakeholders.

  • Technical Competency: Demonstrate high proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly the use of Excel for project management.

  • Time Management: Show exceptional coordination skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

    SES has a team of 52 qualified ecologists, landscape architects, arboriculturists and coordination and support staff. Currently, we're working with Barratt Homes and the RSPB on a large residential housing development, Kingsbrook, a case study in the biodiversity net gain best practice principles for development. Our ecological work includes due diligence reporting, land appraisals, habitat design and creation, protected species surveys and ecological impact assessments. Landscape design and planning services teams specialise in strategic projects, combining an innovative and context-led approach to design.
