We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in a unique opportunity where you'll be able to make a real difference by applying strong commercial practices that drive tangible business benefit, while putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. A bit about the job: This is a key role in overseeing a high-value program of change activity within Aviva. With a significant investment across various business units in the UK, this role offers a broad remit with a strong focus on ensuring that commercial benefits are tracked, managed, and delivered effectively. You will work closely with delivery teams to ensure the program is set up correctly and that its outcomes are transparent and aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Oversight & governance: Provide oversight and commercial governance across the transformation program, ensuring benefits are tracked and outcomes delivered.
  • Analytical & reporting: Lead the analytical efforts and produce key reports to support senior committees, ensuring transparency and clear communication on progress.
  • Commercial mindset: Take a hands-on approach to support delivery teams, bringing a commercial mindset to the table to identify, track, and communicate progress on benefits and outcomes.
  • Senior leadership updates: Communicate regular updates to senior leadership, maintaining oversight of key program deliverables.

    Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting, ideally within a transformation environment.
  • Ability to conduct complex variance analysis and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights
  • Proactive in resolving complex commercial queries and supporting the project teams.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with commercial benefits would be a plus

  • Salary around £50,000 (national), £60,000 (London) - depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
