Full Job Description
This role involves overseeing sourcing, procurement, implementation, and post-contract management, working closely with business stakeholders to develop and execute procurement strategies that maximise value, minimise risk, and ensure successful project outcomes. You will manage all procurement and post-contract activities, emphasising collaborative, strategic relationships with the supply chain. Your focus will be on delivering packages and contracts that align with program goals and best practices, ensuring our client is well-positioned for the future.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure value for money.
- Manage contracts to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance.
- Oversee supplier performance and claims processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Consistently embody the Client's core values in all aspects of the role.
- Remain adaptable and flexible to undertake additional duties as required.

If so, our client is eager to welcome you aboard their dynamic and growing Procurement team! We are searching for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the procurement and delivery of infrastructure for our capital works programs., - Graduate level supported by professional qualifications e.g., MRICS, CIPS, APM, CEng or able to demonstrate equivalent capability.
- Post-qualification experience in construction or professional services with a strong focus on commercial and contractual aspects.
- Experience in procurement and contract management, particularly in NEC-based contracting environments with various reimbursement models.
- Proficient in contract change management, including assessment and administration.
- Proven history of delivering projects that meet business affordability targets.
- Experience working within integrated project teams, including collaboration with supplier partners.
- Familiarity with operating in a matrix organisation structure.
- Skilled in managing teams across multiple locations, including coaching and motivating staff for high performance.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Demonstrated experience working within structured process environments, with a focus on continuous improvement.
