Full Job Description

As a Commercial Operations Administrator at Burberry, you'll play a key role in the Commercial Procurement team in the onboarding of new global suppliers for Burberry, process improvement and contract database management.,

  • Supporting the business in the onboarding of all new global suppliers for Burberry, including:
  • + Due diligence activities for new suppliers + Liaising with the business to ensure that they are familiar with and understand their role in the process + Supporting with any supplier-related queries as they may arise + Actively seeking opportunities to continuously improve existing process, including suggestions for system enhancements
  • Managing the contract database, including contract signature with suppliers and Burberry stakeholders
  • Support category planning processes, including assisting Category Management with procurement activity planning and project delivery for the year ahead and assisting the team with key supplier plans
  • Supporting the Commercial Procurement team with historic spend analysis and reporting

    Experience in either customer service, or buying/procurement administration
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Inquisitive and collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Experience of SAP Ariba and Adobesign/Docusign desirable (full training can be given)

    This Commercial Operations Administrator role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Queen Street, Leeds office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
