Full Job Description

The Commercial Property Lawyer is responsible for providing legal advice on Commercial Property matters generally and playing an important role during the rationalisation of the Charity's property portfolio. A key element of this role is also to provide business as usual support to the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor and other lawyers within the Legal Team., Prepare, review and negotiate complex and routine Commercial Property transactions involved with the disposal of a significant commercial property portfolio via public auction or private treaty.

Obtain s119 reports and liaise with relevant professionals eg. surveyors to achieve best value for these properties; Liaise with external counsel, draft, review and negotiate contracts; leases, licences, transfer deeds, deeds of surrender and similar documents (with Senior Commercial Property Solicitor's guidance)

Analyse title documents and legal descriptions of property; prepare reports on title; prepare completion statements and invoices; prepare Land Registry applications., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. To be successful in this role, you will be educated to a degree level, qualified Barrister or Solicitor of England & Wales with at least 3 years post qualification experience and current practising certificate, solid experience of Commercial Property Law and Practice and resourcefulness to develop solutions to complex legal or regulatory challenges.

Full Time - We are happy to consider applications for part time (3 days a week on fixed days due to business requirements)
