Full Job Description

This full-time (35 hours per week), London-based Solicitor role offers the opportunity to join the Property Investment Team as part of its growth.The role will see you work alongside two Partners, two Senior Associates, one Associate and one trainee (when applicable), with support from a Legal Secretary. This is a demanding role, but you would be working day-to-day in a friendly, supportive environment on significant property transactions.

Tasks will include:

  • High value landlord and tenant work;

  • Commercial sales and purchases;

  • Day-to-day investment asset management and dispute work including deeds of variation, rent reviews, dilapidations claims, applications from tenants for consent and liaising with our Property Litigation colleagues on 1954 Act matters and enforcement actions; and

  • Financings and Refinancings.

    This Solicitor level commercial property role would be ideal for someone who can demonstrate experience in commercial property work in a leading UK property practice. You will be able to draw on first-hand experience granting and acquiring leases, dealing with ancillary matters such as Licences to Assign, Alter and Underlet, investigating title and preparing title reports and acting on sales and purchases. You will also be able to tell us about your knowledge of landlord and tenant law. We can use this to build and teach the specialist skills required to conduct the work that the team deal with day-to-day.
