Commercial Property Surveyor / Valuer

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Surveyor/Valuer to join our Commercial Development & Economic Growth team.,

• Manage the Council's land and property portfolio, including lease renewals, rent reviews, new lettings, and dilapidations.
• Carry out property valuations and end-of-year Asset Register reports.
• Handle cases related to acquisitions, disposals, easements, licenses, agricultural tenancies, and more.
• Negotiate covenant consent cases and prepare for arbitration, acting as an expert witness when needed.
• Provide expert property advice in meetings and contribute to future property strategies.
  
  Professionally qualified and registered RICS Land and Property Surveyor.
• Strong experience in managing commercial properties, valuations, and negotiations.
• Excellent knowledge of property legislation, market trends, and RICS guidelines.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage budgets effectively.
