Commercial Trainee

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Trainee to join our team within Vistry East London, at our Brentwood office. As our Commercial Trainee, you will assist Buyers in procurement process and develop skills necessary for becoming a key member of the procurement team and progress within the business. We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate agile working arrangements.,

• Preparation of enquiry documents, placing of sundry material orders and low value Sub-Contract orders.
• Chasing tender returns and non-returned Sub-Contracts.
• Chasing supply chain for essential documents such as insurance and account information.
• Raising material and Sub-Contract orders onto the COINS system.
• Raising order uplifts as instructed as well as tracking the on-hold report for invoice queries assisting the buyers in resolving these queries.
  
  Minimum 6 GCSE's, grade c or above including Maths and English
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of word and excel
• Have strong arithmetical skills
• Be able to demonstrate negotiation skills
• Must be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a tightly knit team. Must be able to learn quickly and have a strong work ethic
• Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it
Desirable…
• Experience in a commercial organization would be desirable or in a construction business
• Hold a UK driving licence to attend sites if required
