Commis Chef - 32 hours per week - Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for Commis Chefs on a part time basis- 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be required to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general up keep of the kitchen. Key Competencies:

• Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
• Assisting in food production.
• Assisting in producing menu ideas.
• Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
• Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
• Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
• Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager.
• Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
  
  Previous experience working as a Commis Chef
• Can accurately follow instructions
• Meticulous in detail
• Able to work unsupervised, Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
• Have outstanding customer service skills
• Are friendly, helpful and supportive towards all team members
• Take pride in their appearance
• Reliable and hard working
