We have an exciting opportunity at our School site in Orpington, Kent for a Commis Chef to join the team at Accent working 35
hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only.

Shift pattern: 7.00am to 2.30pm with 30min unpaid break.

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the
best possible lunch experience. You will be working with a team of staff and you will report to the Chef Manager.

• An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very hands on role you will be required to cook and to train the team


• Have good communication skills at all levels


• Exceptional standards in all aspects of food and service, attention to detail is vital


• Have a desire to learn and grow with us as a company


• Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment


• The ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books


• Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach


This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to
demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
