Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Commissioner in our SEND department. You will work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the council and within the community. You must be approachable, professional, adaptable, and innovative as you will play a key role in the Children's Strategic Commissioning Team at Bracknell Forest Council. The role is of significant strategic and commercial importance. The successful applicant will effectively support the People Directorate to deliver a range of commissioning activities and drive the best outcomes and value for money for our residents.   • effectively support the People Directorate and drive the best outcomes and value for money for our communities and residents.
  • support managers to deliver a range of commissioning activities relating to all aspects of the commissioning cycle in a professional and effective way.
  • play a role in delivering projects as part of the council's Safety Valve Programme.
  • support change across the organisation.
  • work as part of a highly motivated, respected and successful team as well as independently.
