Are you ready for a new challenge and looking for the next step in your career? We are looking for Commissioning Brokers to join our team here at Gloucestershire County Council., In this role, you'll be the key point of contact between families and care providers, helping to secure high-quality care packages and home placements. You'll also assist with patient discharges, ensuring they have everything they need, such as medication. Your responsibilities include managing a diverse and complex caseload, maintaining both physical and electronic records, and being flexible in supporting the team. Confidentiality is crucial, as you'll handle sensitive information. You'll also monitor care provider performance, ensuring continuous excellent service, and work with managers to improve team processes and performance.

This role is both essential and fulfilling within our Social Care team, as our Commissioning Brokers make a difference in people's lives every day. Please note that this is a seven-day-a-week service, and weekend work on a rotational basis will be required

You're a self-motivated, proactive communicator with experience in customer-facing roles. Your strengths lie in prioritization, decision-making, and time management. If you excel at building relationships, offering solutions, adapting to change, and possess strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, we want to hear from you.

You're comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. You're also confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and managing your daily tasks. Flexibility is key as you shift between tasks and meet strict deadlines, but adaptability and communication will set you apart in this role.
